Competition winner announced
A Dragon’s Den-style contest has produced a winner for
our Great Hall competition. Salim Rahman and Horukul Islam
will use the magnificent venue at the former Leyton Municipal
Offices in High Road as a function room, which will run alongside
a restaurant on the ground floor.

Outbuildings will make way for family homes

Frank’s the first and he’s
very impressed
The first tenant of the Legacy Business Centre is the ANVIL Theatre,
the brainchild of actor and director Frank Scantori. It is a
most unusual company, providing live drama on stage for blind
and visually impaired people. The name is an acronym for Audio
Non-Visual Theatre.

Those keen to enter the LMO Great Hall competition should put
a date in their diaries right away - Friday, May 18, 1pm onwards.
That is when they will have an opportunity to tour the old Leyton
Town Hall in the High Road, view the Great Hall itself and see
the results of the multi-million pound refurbishment.
